1. What are some of the previous research projects you have done?
2. Based on these projects, what does research mean to you?
3. Describe one of your research successes or failures. Why was the experience positive or negative?
The most recent research I have done in a class is the Labyrinth Project in Mrs.Daquano's class. We also researched some ancient empires. To me, research is going to multiple sources and finding information on a given or chosen topic. Research can be fun but it can also be very dull. I have been succesfull at researching because I find it easy and not that stressfull. The only failure I've ever had was on an obscure research project in 7th grade. Most of the experiences that I have had with researching have been positive , just because the teachers give the websites and books for us to find our information. Teacher Response March 15
Great! Positive experiences! I enjoyed your entry. Your grade is my first 10/10.

I think the webbing process helped/did not help me find a topic because:
I think the webbing process did help me because it gave me a better look on many different topics. This was good because now I know what I can expect from each topic and if each topic has valuable information. The webbing proscess also kept everything organized and it will be easier to find the right information. Entry 3 3-15-07

1. Topic:
2. Why you chose it:
3. What you already know about your topic
My topic is on the country of Sri Lanka during the middle ages. I chose this topic because I wanted my topic to be unic and to be out of the ordinary. I also think that culturalaly, Sri Lanka has a lot of information to offer. To say the truth, I do not know much at all about my topic. I know a little about its geography but thats really it. Thats part of the reason I am researching it, because I do not know alot about it. Teacher Response March 16
Your grade is 20/20.
